IdeaScale allows you configure your community so that users are allocated a pre-defined number of votes. Users in your community can then allocate a subset or all of their votes to a particular idea that they feel is most important. Once an idea changes status (complete/in-progress/closed) the votes that users have allocated to the completed idea are released back to the user - allowing them to vote on other ideas. How do users vote on an idea?
This style of voting incorporates a separate voting system. Thus, when this system is enabled on an existing community, voting on each idea is reset to zero.
