Salesforce.com has a concept of Communication Templates that allow you to create "templates" for emails that you can send via salesforce.com. These email templates can have dynamic code in them, that allow you to email a link to your survey and have the data posted back to Salesforce.com.

On SurveyConsole

1. Goto :
   • Login »  Surveys »  Apps »  Custom Apps »  Salesforce.com
2. Enter username and password as password + security token. Click on "Verify Connection" button.

3. Select Salesforce Object from the Object Mapping and hit the "Save Connection Mapping" button. This will generate Salesforce.com CRM Link.

4. You can find this URL under the Edit Survey page also.

On Salesforce.com

1. Login to Salesforce.com

2. Click on Setup - Top Right Corner:

3. Choose Email under Personal Setup >> My Templates and click on New Template button

4. Choose the type of email template you would like to create.

5. Enter information necessary to create template and make sure that Available for use option is selected. Copy and paste the Salesforce URL - from SurveyConsole in the body of the template. Click on Save button

6. Email template is created and preview of your email template will be as,

Now when you want to email a link to the survey:

1. Goto the Case -> Click on Case Number

2. From Activity History section click on Send An Email button

3. In the Email Compose window choose Select Template

   Screenshot

4. Choose the template you just created.
5. The URL to SurveyConsole should be present. This URL contains values for custom1 and custom2 as case name and case Id respectively.
