| Radio Buttons Vs Check Boxes |
|
What is the difference between Multi-Select (Checkbox) and Single-Select (Radio) questions?
Multi-Select (Checkbox) based questions allow users to choose more than one option for the same question. This is used when the intent of the question has a "select all that apply."
Single-Select (Radio) based questions allow users only to choose one (and only one) option for any given question. This is used when the intent of the question is "select one."
If you want radio button instead of check-boxes in your multiple choice question:
In the choice to Select K of N please make sure that K > 1 i.e. you have to tell the system that you are intending for the respondent to select more than one item. If more than one answer choice is allowed, then the browser will diplay checkboxes rather than radio buttons. Radio buttons are displayed for single answer questions only.
